New Tutoring Days Open for Joining!
We have just put up more tutoring schedules for the best 2 weeks!
Please check them out!
We now have tutor events every Wednesday and Friday morning. Isn't it greg that we are able to rech out to more children because of you,
Last tutoring session goes down in our history books as one of our largest!
We had around 60 children and more than 10 were new students in the program! So exciting!

Voluntutor this October 1
****Please take note, VERY IMPORTANT: We may not be able to contact each of you to remind you about this event - but we will count on your being there if you sign up. Kindly do not sign up if you are not yet sure to come thanks so much.
Dear VolunTutor, We are happy to meet you! We hope you can come join us and make a difference in the lives of street children!
WHO: We are tutoring scholars of He Cares Foundation. They are trying to maintain a certain grade average to remain in the program. They live in informal settler communities.
WHAT: We will teach basic English and Math. We will have materials that we can use to practice their skills (books, worksheets, etc) and we will have an orientation and setup at 1 to 2PM. Tutoring is only 1 hour (from 2-3PM). If there is a slight chance you will be late, please watch this orientation video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL2XjIBKabw
WHY: Our goal is to encourage the children to stay in school and to build their confidence that they can do it. Many of them are really smart and talented but they face tremendous challenges due to their environment, preventing them to even want to continue schooling. HOW: We will help you with the different ways to tutor the child. From playing the dictionary game, to spelling, to multiplication drills.
WHEN: October 1, 2016 (Sat) 1-3 PM (pls come early if you're not sure how to get there)
WHERE: He Cares Mission Building, 9 Mines St. Proj.6, Quezon City
THINGS TO BRING:
- bring water, you might get thirsty!
- snacks to share with kids and volunteers (optional)
- ballpen and scratch paper
- just some enthusiasm!!!
- OPTIONAL: If you have wifi that would help a lot for questions we can't answer but someone else's can be borrowed in case you don't have :)

Directions: From SM North, ride proj6 jeep. Tell driver you'll get down Visayas McDonald's. Walk across Visayas ave. and pass small alley to go to Forestry Road. Walk right and then turn to the road to the right - that will curve to Mines Road.

June 4 Tutoring Updates
Dear VolunTutor,
We regret to inform you that our schedule for tutoring is moved to June 11 due to an unexpected celebration at the foundation. We beg for your kind understanding and hope you can still come on June 11.
On June 11, we will be treating the scholars who did well in school and have high grades.
If you have any donation of clothing or gifts for gradeschool boys and girls, please text me 0998-551-3165 so we can add this to the bundle of prizes for them.

Summer Fun Events
Dear VolunTutor!
We hope that you will still join us this summer as we bring the children to educational locations. Some of the places the children have already been to: Manila Planetarium, San Agustin, Ocean Park, and Mind Museum.
Do you know of other places we can bring them this summer 2016? Kindly give your suggestions to us in the comments section below.
We are thinking of bringing them to Dolljoy Museum http://www.dolljoygallery.com/gallery-and-museum.html (hopefully they won't want to buy all the dolls!!!)
We will also need vehicles and snacks for the children so let us know!
